Business Intelligence (BI) Developer
Reporting to Chief Software Architect (CSA)
Key Responsibilities
- BI development and administration.
- Involvement in ETL to transform data from new data source.
- Design and maintain effective data warehouse to support efficient information access and extraction by relevant users
- Will work directly with clients and leadership at various levels in organization to research and identify operational business requirements with sufficient details and clarity to allow the development of the data or reporting solution needed.
- Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
- Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
- Perform day to day BI duties.
Skills & Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience using Microsoft Power BI or any related BI tools.
- Firm understanding of RDMS, SQL, SQL triggers and stored procedures.
- Proficient with MySQL, MSSQL or AzureSQL or any related databases.
- Proficient in with Dax language and Power Query.
- Experience with Azure cloud computing platform is added advantages.
- Familiar with Microsoft Power Automate, python scripting and Data lake will be added advantage.
- Smart, energetics and gets things done – you have a can-do attitude for anything from ETL setup and build maintenance through to QA and feature delivery.
Education & Experience
- Degree in Computer Engineer, Computer Science or Bachelor’s degree in related field plus equivalent work experience
